Research conducted in eight countries – Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Philippines, and Nigeria – is beginning to understand and target demand-side barriers to improve acceptance and uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine. This blog provides three cross-cutting behavioral insights that suggest opportunities to encourage COVID vaccine uptake in low-resource settings, despite persistent challenges to vaccine acceptance.
