Boost Webinar: There’s no system without people: How standard competencies can strengthen immunization

March 26, 2020

Join the Boost community for an interactive webinar on the standard immunization competencies project – a global project intended to support the assessment, design, development and evaluation of immunization workforce management and development. During the session, which will be led by CDC Adult Training Specialist Denise Traicoff, you will learn how the competencies were developed by a working group of global partners and how they have been used for workforce planning and development in a variety of settings since 2018.

If you are an immunization professional who monitors staff performance, makes decisions related to staffing or designs training for immunization workers, you can benefit from this session. Participants will obtain competencies resources and learn how they can obtain technical support for their competencies-related projects.

When you complete this session you will be able to:

  • Identify the practical components of the standard competencies framework
  • Determine how to use the competencies framework for workforce analysis and planning
  • Access the framework and related tools for your own workforce project
