Three LNCT countries – Sudan, Nigeria, and Ghana – have successfully implemented vaccination campaigns in recent weeks. Sudan, with support from WHO and UNICEF, vaccinated 4.5 million children against polio. Nigeria is working with WHO, Gavi, and UNICEF in their biggest-ever yellow fever vaccination campaign, which aims to provide 26.2 million vaccinations for both children and adults. In collaboration with WHO, Gavi, and UNICEF, Ghana has launched a sub-national campaign to vaccinate 5.3 million people against yellow fever in nine regions.
